Books!

I went to visit mum today at the house (she's doing fine now by the way, thanks!) and was pleasantly surprised with the delivery of a large box. I was expecting this box, but as always, am never too sure when such a delivery would arrive. I always have these kinds of packages sent to my parents house as I'm rarely home during the week to accept them.

It contained 25 copies of some book I wrote, for Expo this month, but that's boring! The real treasure it held was a collection of books that I'd been looking forward to reading for quite a while.

Oh the fun we shall have together in bed, just you wait!!

I quite liked the shape of Midnight Sun, it's small and sqaure and really cute. I don't normally think books are cute, but this one is.

A little help goes a long way

Dan Vado put up a post today concerning the shooting of a comicbook store owner. It's rather disturbing to think that even comic stores aren't safe these days from such horrid acts.

If anyone can spare a little cash to help Mr. Pirkola with his financial situation, I'm sure it would be very much appreciated.

My current musical obsession. Been listening to her latest album non-stop all week. There are some amazing tracks on it. This one is one of my fav's and it's cool seeing it performed live.

Weezer & Muppets = Awesome!

I totally forgot this video existed. I was purchasing Weezer's new album and decided to YouTube some old videos for fun while I wait for a program on a server to install (I had 20 minutes to kill) and came across this one again.

Having some server issues at work this morning. Typical, when I needed this particular Saturday to stay quiet just like all the other Saturdays, something happens. I'm hoping it's sorted out now though.

An interesting documentary about a man from the clergy in the UK, who embarks on a spiritual journey to walk the path of other religious groups in the world. One example is living with Shaolin Monks and studying Kung Fu. Extreme Pilgrim, via the BBC's iPlayer.

*watches*

[Edit] Just finished watching it and it's very much worth the watch.

First weekend of 2008. Let's ring it in with song!

Who Am I?

My passion is to create and tell stories. I had done this in many forms, from poetry to prose but have found that I am most comfortable expressing myself through script writing. It is always a satisfying learning experience.

Have a gander at my recent titles below.
